Huw Price's new series started today on the 1973 Strawson/Evans discussion about truth made for the Open University. I used to watch OU broadcasts on tv back then. I love their wonderfully formal English. At the weekend I watched an old BBC interview with Bertrand Russell and was struck by the same formal, serious spirit. We never saw the interviewer's face in that.
